This applies when you use the button “I have no idea what AI could do for my company” on capcon.no and fill in the “How can we help?” window.
What happens. You enter your website and company email address. We check them and send you a confirmation link. Once you confirm, an AI model assesses the public text of your start page. You receive an automated reply from info@capcon.no. A copy goes to consultant@capcon.no, where a person at CAPCON reads it.
Data we process. Your website address, your email address, the time of request and confirmation, and the assessment result. Your IP address is stored only as an irreversible hash, to limit misuse. Your email address is not sent to the AI provider, only the public page text.
Legal basis. Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to info@capcon.no. Protection against misuse rests on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This applies when you use the button “Download the Local Anonymiser” on capcon.no.
What happens. You enter your website and company email address. We check them and send you a confirmation link. Once you confirm, the download is released. A message with your email address and website goes to consultant@capcon.no, where a person at CAPCON reads it.
Data we process. Your website address, your email address, the time of request and confirmation, and how often you download the file. Your IP address is stored only as an irreversible hash, to limit misuse.
Purpose and legal basis. We use your email address to contact you about the Anonymiser and related services. This rests on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to info@capcon.no. Protection against misuse rests on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The tool itself runs on your computer and sends nothing to us unless you choose to send files.
This applies when you send us a message with the “Get in touch” form on capcon.no.
Data we process. Your name, email address, the optional company name and phone number, your message, and any files you attach (images, PDF, Word or Excel files, up to 3 files and 8 MB in total). The form sends this by email to info@capcon.no, where a person at CAPCON reads it.
Please attach only anonymised files. Remove names, addresses, account numbers and similar details before you attach a file. If you attach a file, the form asks you to confirm that it is anonymised. Our free Local Anonymiser does this on your computer, before anything leaves it.
How we use your files. We use them only to answer your request. To assess a file we may use AI tools. We do this only with files you have confirmed as anonymised.
Legal basis. Steps at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We use service providers for hosting, email delivery and, where described above, AI assessment. Some of them are located outside the EU/EEA, for example in the USA. Where this is the case, data is transferred on the basis of appropriate safeguards as required by law.
We keep your data only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up work with you, and delete it afterwards. If a contract follows, statutory retention periods apply to the contract documents, not to files you sent for assessment.
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability: write to info@capcon.no. You may also complain to Datatilsynet (Norway) or to your national supervisory authority.
Using the button and the form is voluntary. They set no cookies.
